Welcome!

"Life is like a roller coaster.  You can either hang on for dear life and scream in terror, or you can put your hands up in the air, enjoy the ride, and scream 'Wheeeeeee'"  (Karen Langford)

The very first time I rode on a roller coaster, I was probably in grade school.  My dad and I got in one of the roller coaster cars and I was so excited!  My first roller coaster ride!  As we went up the steep hill of the rickety wooden roller coaster, my excitement increased as it chugged it's way up into the vast blue sky.  Seeing the crest of the hill, my anticipation was overflowing as I wondered what would be over the other side.

When I got a look down the other side of the hill, terror all of a sudden enveloped me to the core of my being.  I had no idea it was going to be this terrifying and I wanted off that very minute, but I was stuck!  The next best thing was to quickly crawl under the handle bar, onto the floor, under my dad's legs, and hanging onto one of his legs for dear life.  I can only imagine the terror my dad felt hoping beyond hope that I wouldn't go flying out of the car as we went around one of the quick curves!

After the ride was over, I was never so happy to see land again.  Except my legs were shaking so bad that I couldn't walk.  I never wanted to go through that again in my life!  But I did.  Several years later, when I became a teenager, my brother and I decided to give it another try.  This time, I enjoyed it, even though when I got off the ride, my legs were still shaking enough that I had to sit down for a few minutes until I got my land-legs back again.  Now I love roller-coasters!  Give me the scariest of them, and I'm on them.

Life is like that.  We have our up's and down's, our joys and sorrows, sometimes we're beyond happy and ecstatic with the way our life is going, and other times, we're living in fear and wishing we could get off this ride we call life.  But I'm here to tell you that life can be good.  It can be enjoyed.  And we can live without the fear.

Another one of my quotes is:  "Life is good.  Life is beautiful. Life is what you believe it to be.  And I believe that it's quite awesome!"

Mission Statement

My mission is to be a light of love, peace, compassion, and harmony, and to help people learn to love and accept themselves as they are, to laugh and enjoy life, and to find the good in everything.  My desire is to help each of us learn of our Divine Magnificence and that we are all connected to the loving source of all that is.  It is my wish that I can also help people to become aware of the collective consciousness of love, and that no matter what we go through in life, all is well.
